Literacy Connections is the only local organization serving adults who cannot function in a typical classroom due to low literacy skills or language barriers. We are committed to continuing to help these adults achieve personal goals, become U.S. Citizens, learn English, get a job, or simply read for pleasure.
Please consider supporting Literacy Connections of the Hudson Valley this #GivingTuesday, December 1st, as a Friend of Literacy! Because of friends like you, we’ve been able to grow and provide free, confidential, one-to-one tutoring services to adults and reading enrichment programs to children.
Friends of Literacy helps us continue to provide adult basic literacy education and ESL programs to adults free of charge, ensuring volunteer tutors and students have the learning materials and resources needed to succeed. They also support our children’s reading enrichment program, Book Buddies.
